Police detain 28 businessmen, teachers over alleged coup involvement

Turkish police on Saturday detained a total of twenty-eight businessmen and teachers in Ağrı over alleged links to the Gülen movement, which the Turkish government blames for a failed coup last July, the state-run Anadolu news agency reported.

According to the report, among the detainees there are also two university students and they are reportedly accused of using ByLock, a smart phone application that authorities believe is a communication tool between members of the Gülen movement.
