Ömer Faruk Aksoy, a computer technician
who died of skin cancer after he was dismissed from job, was found innocent 2.5
years later and “reinstated” to his job.

and a lawmaker from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) tweeted Tuesday Aksoy
was given a right to get back to work 3 months after he was died.
Aksoy worked as an IT personnel at Mersin
State Hospital until he was sacked.
“You oppressed the people, labelled them
terrorists and dismissed them from public jobs. He died of grief and now comes
the reinstatement. Don’t you ever get upset over all this? They issued a reinstatement
offer to Omer Faruk Aksoy who was removed from job and died of skin cancer
three months ago,” Gergerlioglu tweeted with the letter of offer in the
attachment.
Turkey has suspended or dismissed more than 150,000 judges, teachers, police and other civil servants since the failed putsch and the government is often criticized for using the coup as a pretext to get rid of its critics from public payroll.
