A 4-years-old boy, identified as Umut Ö. was wounded after a police vehicle hit him while he was playing in front of their house in Idil, Şırnak, pro-Kurdish ANF news agency said on Monday.
Umut was heavily wounded after the car ran over him, and was taken to district hospital in the car that hit him. Following the immediate treatment, he was transferred to Cizre Public Hospital, and then to a private hospital in Batman province, where he was taken under treatment.
The boy is held in intensive care unit and remains in life-threatening condition, ANF said.
