Barış Terkoğlu, the news director of the Oda TV news portal, was detained by Turkish police in a house raid early on Wednesday morning, according to journalist Barış Pehlivan.
“Oda TV’s news director, my frined, journalist Barış Terkoğlu was detained by police in a house raid in the wee hours of the morning, just like was done by FETO nine years ago,” Pehlivan tweeted.
Terkoğlu is believed to be detained over reports regarding the 34 Turkish soldiers who were killed in airstrikes in Syria’s Idlib on Thursday.
