Detention warrants were issued for 115 people from 328 schools and dormitories that were earlier shut down over links to the Gulen movement, on Friday.
Police carried out operations to detain 115 former personnel of 328 dormitories, infant schools, primary, secondary and high schools in 15 provinces.
54 were rounded up while police were seeking the rest at the time of this writing.
Some of the suspects are accused of having used ByLock and some of having deposited money into the Bank Asya, also closed over Gulen ties.
ByLock is a controversial, encrypted mobile app that the government says once top communication tool among the followers of the Gulen movement. The movement stands accused of leading the July 15, 2016 coup attempt in which it denies involvement.
Meanwhile, 30 people including students, teachers and former personnel of the government-closed schools were detained in Ordu as part of a separate investigation the same day.
